The last couple weeks have been pretty easy for NFL Confidence Pool players. The favorites have been very good the last couple weeks. But with the parity in the NFL these days things are bound to go screwy soon, and Week 9 might be the time.

We went to remind you to stay away from picking too many upsets in your Confidence Pool. It’s a long season. You want to give yourself the best chance to put together the best season record possible. If you are way behind during Weeks 15, 16 and 17 of the season then that might be the time to pick more upsets. But slow and steady normally is usually the strategy here.
Check back next week for NFL Confidence Pool picks Week 10.

Analysis: I think the Texans are the top pick for the week in Confidence Pools. I agree with the oddsmakers there. I do think there will be some upsets, starting tonight. I like the Jets over the Bills, who seem overrated as a 3.5-point favorite on the road, where they have not played well in the past. I have been a big believer in Tampa Bay this season to my own detriment but I am going with them one last time as a desperate team facing an overrated divisional foe. I also changed my pick at the last minute as I think the Giants have a decent chance to upset the Rams, who have been travelling a lot and are probably also a bit overrated.

Analysis: Another 6 teams on bye in Week 9 and a lot of trades at the deadline in a very different 2017 NFL Season. Our top pick is Houston over Indianapolis. Houston rookie QB Watson is playing very confidently and having a lot success for the Texans. A powerful Houston offense will be too much for a struggling Colts team. Seems like every year the Seahawks offense comes alive in the second half of the season. Washington has played well but the WR play has been inconsistent. Seattle gets the home win.
