It’s time for Week 9 NFL Confidence Pool picks. Our readers have spoken up, and we have answered the call. Due to popular demand we will offer our ranked expert picks without the point spread each week for NFL Confidence Pool competitions.
We have a great offer here for our site visitors! Doc’s Sports, a leader in sports handicapping for more than 45 years, has allowed us to give our readers $60 worth of free picks from their website. Doc has his biggest play of the season going on Saturday, his Big Ten Game of the Year. This pick set the sportsbooks on fire in the 1990s when it won 19 years in a row and moved the Las Vegas line more than seven points after its release. You can get the pick for Saturday for free via this deal. And you will still have credit left over for another pick! No credit card is needed and you will never deal with a salesman. We always advise to avoid picking too many upsets for NFL Confidence Pools. These pools are designed to pay off for conservative picks. You get more points the higher-rated the pick is, so you don’t want to be wrong on an upset ranked as your top pick when the rest of the pool went chalk. If you are down a lot of points late in the year, then by all means go upset crazy and hope for the best. But don’t go wild like this unless you have to.
Each week of the pro football season Kyle McCarthy and I will provide our predictions for NFL Confidence Pools exclusively at SurvivorPoolPicks.com. We rank the predictions in order from the strongest to the weakest each week. Check back next week for NFL Week 10 Confidence Pool picks.

Analysis: If I still had the Chiefs available in my Survivor Pool for Week 9 then I would take them without a thought. They are the biggest favorite on the board this week and for good reason. They are on a roll right now and the Jags look like a team that has given up on their coach. I do think Cleveland is going to win at least one game this season, but I don’t think it will come this week. I have mostly chalk (favorite) picks at the top of my list this week but I get more upset-minded later down the list. None of my upsets this week would be earth-rattling and I played things pretty conservatively this week.

Analysis: The Dallas Cowboys are proving they are one of the best teams in the NFL with a dominant running game a bend-but-don’t-break defense. The running game is shortening the game for the Cowboys and limiting opposing team possessions. The Browns are getting healthier but need a lot to go right to stay in games. The Vikings have dropped all the way to the bottom of the confidence poll this week. Not sure what has happened to Vikings, who started the season on fire but now have an anemic offense and a defense that is playing a lot of minutes due to all the three-and-outs.
