Westgate SuperContest Week 14 NFL Betting Picks
A 2-3 week in Week 13 of Supercontest as we were undone by bad Quarterback play. With Matt Ryan throwing to crucial INTs resulting in 8 points for the KC Chiefs that not only cost us the cover but also the Falcons. The 49ers two QB’s combined for a total of 39 passing yards vs the Chicago Bears and then bad Eli showed up for the Giants with two INTs vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Here are the rest of our results from Week 13:
Atlanta -4 over Kansas City – Loss
San Francisco +1 over Chicago – Loss
New England -13 over Los Angeles – Win
NY Giants +6.5 over Pittsburgh – Loss
Detroit +6 over New Orleans – Loss

Now onto our Week 14 Super Contest Selections using the current posted Westgate SuperContest spread:
Minnesota -3 over Jacksonville The Vikings still have a chance at a playoff spot and take on a limited Jacksonville offensive unit. The Vikings defense seems to have settled back down and this should allow Vikings QB Sam Bradford to dink and dunk his way to a low scoring win in Jacksonville.
Atlanta -6 over Los Angeles We got burned by the Falcons last week in a game that should have been an easy cover. The Falcons don’t care about us but definitely have a bad taste in their mouths after blowing a game against the Chiefs on a 2 point interception return. The Rams have a strong D but not the offense to keep up with the high powered Falcons.
Pittsburgh -1.5 over Buffalo Steelers TE Ladarius Green has given Big Ben a 3rd option behind RB Le’Veon Bell and WR Antonio Brown making opposing defenses pick their poison. The Bills want to ground and pound and that is the strength of the Steelers D. This could be why Bills Head Coach Rex Ryan has been giving word that Bills QB Tyrod Taylor needs to prove he is a franchise QB.
Chicago +7.5 over Detroit Chicago shut down Detroit in Chicago earlier this season winning easily 17-13 in a game that was not that close. Matt Barkley is proving himself capable in running the Chicago offense with strong RB Howard keeping defenses honest. Even if the Bears do not win this will be close then expected. In a tough divisional game always take a touchdown.
Baltimore +7 over New England New England will have its hands full vs a tough Ravens defensive unit that is finally healthy. Baltimore has the NFL’s #1 Rushing Defense that will force Tom Brady to air it out without TE Rob no Gronkowski. New England’s other TE Bennet is banged up and be forced to help protect Brady vs the Ravens pass rush. Ravens secondary has finally jelled and will not let any big plays. I expect Ravens Rookie RB Kenneth Dixon to have a break out game in Foxboro.
