Free Westgate SuperContest Week 12 Picks
It was the best of times and the worst of time in the Week 11 SuperContest picks. Miami stormed back to score 14 4th Quarter points to get a win and cover with seconds left, meanwhile while that game was going on San Francisco scored a garbage time touchdown vs the Patriots and we watched that game go from a win to push. The worst though may have been the Monday Night Game in Mexico City as we watched the Texans literally get the short end of the stick vs the Raiders and fail to cover. What could have been a 4-1 or 5-0 card fell to 3-1-1.
Here are the rest of our results from Week 11:
Tampa Bay +7.5 over Kansas City – Win
Miami -2.5 over Los Angeles – Win
New England -13 over San Francisco – Push
Seattle -6.5 over Philadelphia – Win
Houston +5.5 over Oakland – Loss
In the Westgate SuperContest you get one point for a win, a half point for a tie and no points for a loss. In case you did not know if you select the Thursday game you must submit your entire card for the week and we are taking a few Thanksgiving Day games this week.

Now onto our Week 12 Super Contest Selections using the current posted Westgate SuperContest spread:
Washington +7 over Dallas Dallas has been winning by keeping other teams off the field and running out the clock with its dominant run game however on the defensive side Dallas does not generate a great pass rush and is missing two key components in the secondary. Washington has a potent quick strike air attack and will not worry about a running clock. In a heated NFC East Rivalry game always take the points.
Pittsburgh -8 over Indianapolis Big Ben is a different QB on the road then at home so I am not crazy about laying 8 points on the road but the Colts are starting Scott Tolzien at QB and the Colts don’t offer much on defense. If the Steelers use the same game plan they did last week vs the Browns’ and let Le’Veon Bell do his thing it should be an easy Thanksgiving Day victory for the Steelers.
Tennessee -4.5 over Chicago The Bears are down to QB Matt Barkley and WR Cameron Meredith to take on a sound Tennessee Defense. While the Bears front 7 offers some fight I expect the Titans to wear them down in the 2nd half. The efficient Titans pull away late in the 3rd to early in the 4th Quarter and get a comfortable win.
Seattle -6 over Tampa Bay Seattle has it working on the offensive side of the ball with a return of a power run game and healthy QB Wilson spreading the ball all over the field. Tampa’s D will struggle vs this very balanced attack. Seattle’s D is also rounding into shape and will take away Top Tampa offensive weapon WR Evans and limit the effectiveness on RB Martin.
Philadelphia -4 over Green Bay We have said it before and we will say it again ,Philadelphia is a different team at home then on the road. Philadelphia has won and covered all 4 home games this year vs top completion in Pittsburgh, Minnesota and Atlanta. Underrated Philly D will bring pressure all game long on QB Rodgers and a confident Philly offense gets in done vs a struggling Green Bay Defense.
