We liked Navy last week and now they should be rested and ready to go vs. Memphis as a home dog. Memphis struggled vs. the option last time in a loss vs Navy 45-20. Navy comes in with an aggressive D that should make life difficult on the Memphis offense.

Nobody has a mid-week home-field advantage like Virginia Tech, who is starting to resemble the old Beamer Ball days of a strong run game a great defense and special teams. Miami likes to run the ball and play defense too. Look for an old-school, low-scoring battle and take the under.

Toledo has a high-powered offense and does not seem interested in playing any defense. Central Michigan has a highly-efficient offense that can keep pace. In a game of two high-powered offenses we will take the team with a better defense and double digit points.

Pittsburgh really laid an egg vs. Miami and now has to face Tom Brady and the dink-and-dunk offense of the Patriots. Landry Jones is nice back up QB, but he’s not who want to be going up against a hungry pats D. I am surprised the line is only 7.
