Free NFL Week 6 & Week 7 NCAA Betting Picks from Expert Football Handicapper
Week 6 of NCAA college football saw a few last-minute plays turn a winning week to a 1-2 result starting on Thursday Night with Houston -25.5. This line moved all the way down to -21, and those who got it there got a push. Houston was up 49-21 with just under four minutes to go. SMU had a fourth-and-goal from the Houston 25-yard line and hit on a TD Pass. TCU had a horrible second quarter vs. Kansas St but started playing like they should have the entire game in scoring 35 second-half points. They almost got a miracle cover if the late fumble had rolled into the end zone. No such luck, though. The only winner was an easy -16 cover with Boise St cruising to a 41-10 win over Colorado St
We went 2-0-1 in Week 5 of the NFL against the Bovada Sportsbook. We had the New England Patriots -9.5 in a 30-6 win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Green Bay Packers were never really threatened covering the -9 over the St Louis Rams 24-10 and got fortunate with a late rally form the Cincinnati Bengals to get the -3 push in 27-24 OT win over the Seattle Seahawks, who have lost all three road games this season.
Now onto this week’s free picks. Like always we will pick our lines using the popular Bovada sportsbook. Bovada is very trusted in the industry and has extremely fast payouts.. Check out Bovada and sign up (Click Here).
For any new players, you will see we talk in Units. Essentially a Unit equals $100. We do know that there are plenty of bettors who are not $100 players, so break this down to fit your comfort level. For example, a Unit to you could be $10. So if we discuss a 2-Unit play that would indicate a $20 play.

Pick No. 1
1-Unit Straight Bet
Take Stanford -6.5 over UCLA – Bovada Line and sign up (Click Here)
We are in PAC-12 country and follow the conference closely. Stanford has impressed us this year with their physical brand of football. Christian McCaffrey and Barry Sanders (sons of Ed McCaffrey and Barry Sanders) have formed a tough RB tandem and made life easy for QB Kevin Hogan. Expect the Stanford D to pressure and overwhelm UCLA in this primetime ESPN Game in Palo Alto.
Pick No. 2
1-Unit Straight Bet
Take UNLV -6.5. over Fresno St – Bovada Line and sign up (Click Here)
Ex Bishop Gorman Head Coach Tony Sanchez has injected life into the UNLV football program. A letdown game was expected vs. San Jose St after beating rival Nevada, but UNLV rallied and almost got the win. UNLV is playing tough and will put up points on struggling Fresno St.
Pick No. 3
1-Unit Straight Bet
Take Penn St +17 over Ohio St – Bovada Line and sign up (Click Here)
Defending National Champion and No. 1 Ohio St has not been blowing people out, and the Nittany Lions have the defense to keep it close. Penn St only needs to put 10 points to get a cover here. Take the +17 at Bovada.

Pick No. 1
1-Unit Straight Bet
Minnesota – 4 over Kansas City Bovada Line and sign up (Click Here)
Minnesota is healthy and rested coming off a bye. Kansas City was struggling on offense before losing Jamal Charles to a season-ending injury. Expect lots of Adrian Peterson and an aggressive Vikings defense to make life tough on super-conservative QB Alex Smith and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs. Easy home win for the Vikings.
Pick No. 2
1-Unit Straight Bet
Take Arizona -3 over Pittsburgh – Bovada Line and sign up (Click Here)
There is a lot of talk of Big Ben coming back for this game vs. the Cardinals, but with 2 AFC games on the horizon it does not make sense for the Steelers to rush him back. This is a homecoming game though for Arizona Head Coach Bruce Arians. The Cardinals will play tough to get their coach a win in his old stomping grounds, while the Steelers offense continues to sputter with Michael Vick at the helm.
Pick No. 3
1-Unit Straight Bet
Washington +6 over New York Jets – Bovada Line and sign up (Click Here)
The Washington Redskins have a very underrated defense that will slow down the Jets ground attack and will put pressure on Ryan Fitzpatrick. Kirk Cousins has done a good job of spreading the ball around, and the Redskins can control the clock with a stable of powerful RBs. The Redskins keep it close and could get a straight up win.
