Bovada is giving Louisville respect after they played tough last Saturday versus Auburn and got a cover. This week they take on the high-powered offense of Houston. Houston has enough firepower to stick with Louisville, who may be feeling good about themselves and looking ahead to a big game next week versus possible ACC Champion Clemson.

Bovada has this line as Cal -13 over San Diego State. Both these schools have coaches I really like. SDSU Head Coach Rocky Long has played the 3-3-5 defense since his days at New Mexico. This defense can give a lot of teams fits. However, Cal Head Coach Sonny Dykes has the Cal offense clicking (73 points last week vs. Grambling), and I see the Bears finding a lot of holes in the SDSU secondary.

Kansas is bad. Are they improved? Maybe, but they are still a bad football team. They lost a close game last week at home too FCS (1-AA) South Dakota St. It can happen, but now they take on Memphis, who just destroyed Missouri State 63-7. Get to Bovada and lay the points .

The return of future Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson will only help second-year quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who has looked sharp this preseason, while it seems nothing has gone right for the 49ers since game 1 last year against the Dallas Cowboys. These two teams are going in opposite directions. While there is no such thing as an easy win in the NFL, expect the Vikings to pull away in the second half of this one and get a comfortable win.
